New Toni Braxton album out

Toni Braxton ‘s new album "Libra", Braxton's sixth album to date, will be
released on September 27 and was produced by Scott Storch (The Roots, Snoop Dogg,
Busta Rhymes) and Vincent Herbert (Destiny's Child, JoJo, Aaliyah). First single
off the album will be "Trippin'" which is out now.
New
Nirvana compilation to include previously unreleased tracks
A November 1 release date is set for the new Nirvana compilation. "Sliver: The
Best Of The Box" which highlights last year's boxed set "With The Lights Out."
The album will also feature three previously unreleased tracks. "With The Lights
Out" was the biggest selling boxed set since Garth Brooks' "The Limited Series"
and sold 429,000 copies in the US only.
Destiny's
Child farewell compilation album set for release
Destiny's Child will release a greatest hits collection with three new tracks.
New single off the compilation is "Stand Up For Love" which is a ballad and also
the theme song for World Children's Day with the Ronald McDonald House. The
group’s greatest hits album will be titled “Destiny's Child's #1's” and is due
October 25. The album will also feature two other new tracks, being "Feel the
Same Way I Do" and Beyoncé's "Check On It" from the upcoming "The Pink Panther"
prequel. Meanwhile Kelly Rowland is also working on her second solo album.
New Robbie
Williams album Intensive Care set for October
Robbie Williams' fifth solo album, titled “Intensive Care,” will be released at
the end of October and is said to be taking Robbie Williams to the image of an
indie rocker. “Intensive Care” was co-written by Stephen Duffy and was inspired
by bands like Bloc Party and Kraftwerk.
New
Madonna single to include Abba sample
Madonna's new single “Hung Up” will feature a sample of Abba's “Gimme Gimme
Gimme.” With this sample Madonna will be one of the rare artists to be endorsed
by Abba to use a piece of their works as a sample. Previously, only the Fugees
were granted this honor by ABBA when they used a sample from "The Name Of The
Game." “Hung Up” is the first single that will be taken off the new Madonna
album “Confessions On A Dance Floor” which is out on November 14. |
